The campaign is run by Culture Action Europe, an advocacy and lobby organisation promoting arts and culture as a building block of the European project.

The manifesto asks for a bold and daring culture programme for the period 2014-2020 that will fund cutting edge artistic and cultural experimentation around common European concerns and aspirations.

The campaign is being launched now to influence the next EU budget negotiations for the 2014-2020 period. The EU budget will be negotiated over the next two years and Culture Action Europe want to make sure that the EU contribution to culture is explicit and with a stronger financial commitment.
