The Importance of Teaching, The Schools White Paper 2010 – Reaction from Creativity, Culture and Education (CCE)
Joe Hallgarten, Director of Cultural Programmes for arts education charity, Creativity, Culture and Education (CCE), commenting on The Schools White Paper 2010 said: "Whilst we welcome a review of the National Curriculum, the Government must be careful that a ’slimmed down’ curriculum doesn’t ultimately pin down schools to an even narrower, centrally-prescribed set of priorities."

Arts Council England funding settlement - Reaction from Creativity, Culture and Education (CCE)
Commenting on Arts Council England’s funding settlement to arts education charity Creativity, Culture and Education (CCE) of £19m for 2011/12, Paul Collard, Chief Executive of CCE, said: "The £19m grant that ACE has offered CCE for 2011/12 will enable us to complete the Creative Partnerships projects already planned for the 2,000 schools currently engaged with the programme."

Creative Partnerships programme cut in Spending Review - Reaction from Creativity, Culture and Education
Commenting on the Government’s announcement today to withdraw funding from the Creative Partnerships programme, Paul Collard, Chief Executive of arts education charity Creativity, Culture and Education (CCE), said: "We are obviously very disappointed with the decision to withdraw funding from the Creative Partnerships creative learning programme which has benefitted over 1 million young people and thousands of schools across the country.

Are pupils Well Versed? New programme is set to encourage high-quality poetry teaching in schools
Do school children know their Beowulf from their Revolting Rhymes? How can teachers feel better equipped to inspire children to write their own poems? These are a couple of the questions arts education charity Creativity, Culture and Education (CCE) hope to address with Well Versed, a new national programme which aims to transform the way poetry is taught in schools by involving poets in the professional development of teachers.

New independent research from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) reveals that Creative Partnerships, the government’s flagship creative learning programme for schools, is expected to generate nearly £4 billion net positive benefit for the UK economy.

Tell Us TV website launched
Creativity, Culture & Education (CCE) is launching a new website called Tell Us TV (www.tellustv.co.uk). CCE, the national arts education charity, is asking all children and young people to upload their videos to Tell Us TV detailing why arts and culture is important to them.
